Answering Children’s Questions

When children ask questions it is because they do not know the answers. As parents we must do our best in giving the best possible answers to our child’s questions. When parents do not show interest in their child’s questions, they will find out through friends, peers or outsiders, which might be the incorrect information or definition.

Take time and be patient in answering your child’s questions. Provide an answer that is age appropriate as possible and always ensure it has the truth in it. If the question seem to complicated or you are not too confident in answering it as a parent get support or do the reaserch. You will be improving the relationship between yourself and your child, and building your child’s confident in you at the same time.
